Eric Kurjan is the president and owner of the Six Disciplines Consulting Services.  Six Disciplines delivers management and executive consulting, coaching, strategic advisory services and Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award consulting to clients across North America.
 
Prior to joining Six Disciplines, Kurjan was the president of Plumbline Solutions, Inc., a 75-person start-up software consulting company. Plumbline was formed as a spin-off from Microsoft’s Findlay, Ohio, location in August 2004.  Prior to Plumbline, Kurjan was general manager of the North American professional services organization for Microsoft Corp. As general manager, he led a team of more than 500. Kurjan also was the general manager of Microsoft Corp. - Great Plains’ Solomon business unit, where he was responsible for product development, professional services and sales and marketing across all Solomon product line offerings. Kurjan was also instrumental in negotiating the details of the acquisition of Solomon Software by Great Plains in 2000.
 
Kurjan currently serves on the board of Greensleeves Geothermal Software.  He has served on the Management Committee for CentraComm Communications, Plumbline Solutions and also on the Board of Trustees of Blanchard Valley Hospital System (11 years), Findlay Country Club (past president, two terms) and the University of Findlay (10 years). He has also served as the 2006 Campaign Chairman for the Hancock County United Way and 2008 Board Chair. He has also demonstrated his leadership and team-building abilities as a past member of the Findlay-Hancock County Arts Partnership, Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, as well campaign chairman of the Hancock County Community Recreation Center Committee.

Dan Gonder

COO & Client Coach

Dan Gonder is Chief Operating Officer for Six Disciplines Consulting Services. He is certified on the Six Disciplines methodology and is responsible for coaching and offering strategic advisory services. Prior to joining Six Disciplines, he was the North American training leader for Microsoft Business Solutions, where he was responsible for 60+ training centers and 300+ certified instructors throughout the United States and Canada. Dan’s other positions at Microsoft included programs development manager for training, and education resources manager. He also held positions as special projects coordinator and client services representative at Solomon Software.

Dan currently serves on the board of the City Mission of Findlay (past president) and has prior board affiliations with the Childrens Mentoring Connection of Hancock County, Findlay Noon Kiwanis and St. Paul’s Church.  Dan is also an active member of CedarCreek Church.  He and his wife, Erin and their five children, Kaitlyn, Zachary, Drake, Nico and Tyler, live in Findlay, Ohio. Dan enjoys coaching and assisting with their many sporting, musical and scouting activities.  Dan earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Northern University.
 

Scott Gray

Director of Sales & Client Coach

Scott Gray is the Director of Sales and a Client Coach for Six Disciplines Consulting Services. He is certified on the Six Disciplines methodology and is responsible for coaching and offering strategic advisory services. Scott is also an Examiner for The Partnership for Excellence (TPE) which administers the Malcolm Baldrige Assessment Process in Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia.
 
Prior to joining Six Disciplines, Scott served 3 years as a National Account Representative with Cenveo in Toledo, a national, publicly-traded printing company, and 20 years as co-owner and VP of Sales and Marketing with The Gray Printing Company--the $20 million 118-year old, fourth-generation family-owned printing firm in Fostoria, OH. Scott’s background includes expertise in sales, marketing, new business development and customer relationship management.
 
Gray currently serves on the board for the Boy Scouts of America, Black Swamp Area Council. He and his wife, Jackie, live in Findlay, Ohio. Scott earned his bachelor’s degree from Marietta College.

Paul Worstell

Client Coach

Paul Worstell is a Client Coach for Six Disciplines Consulting Services. He is certified on the Six Disciplines methodology and is responsible for coaching and offering strategic advisory services.
Paul brings over 45 years of leadership experience to clients in his role as a Six Disciplines Certified Business Coach.  In 2010, he retired from PRO-TEC Coating Company in Leipsic, Ohio, a joint venture partnership of U. S. Steel and Kobe Steel, Ltd. of Japan after serving as the company president for 12 years. Before joining PRO-TEC, he spent 26 years with U. S. Steel’s operations in the Pittsburgh region. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Mt. Union College in Alliance, Ohio, in 1970 and a master’s of business administration from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio in 1999.

Paul chairs the Board of Trustees of The Ohio Partnership for Excellence.  He serves on the board of trustees at The Baldrige Foundation, The Blanchard Valley Health System, The Findlay Area YMCA, and The University of Findlay College of Business Advisory Board.  He has served as a lecturer at The University of Findlay, Mt. Union College and Ohio Northern University on topics of Leadership.  Paul has served as an adjunct professor teaching Organizational Leadership at the University of Findlay.  Mr. Worstell is an examiner for the Ohio Partnership for Excellence.  Since PRO-TEC’s receipt of the Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) in 2007, Mr. Worstell has traveled as a keynote speaker at many MBNQA related conferences around the United States discussing the topics of leadership and best practices. 
  

Suki Wright

Director of Baldrige Services


Suzanna “Suki” Wright, MSM, CSSBB is the Director of Baldrige Services for Six Disciplines Consulting Services.  She is responsible for coaching and facilitating workshops to assist progressive organization on their journey to excellence.  Prior to her role at Six Disciplines, she was the Director of Organizational Excellence and Innovation at Schneck Medical Center, a 2011 National Baldrige Quality Award Recipient. 
 
She has over thirty years of healthcare experience and almost ten years with the national Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.  The work with the national program includes expert reviewer and technical editor.  In 2014 she became an Alumni Examiner.  She is also active at the state level as a trainer and examiner and most recently served as Judge for The Partnership for Excellence, a regional quality program.  She holds a Master of Science in Management, is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and is the Chair of the South Central Indiana Section of the ASQ.
  

Audrey Carmichael

Audrey Carmichael is a Client Coach for Six Disciplines Consulting Services. She is responsible for coaching and offering strategic advisory services.
 
Audrey is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified ASQ Quality Auditor. She brings over 25 years of experience in light manufacturing, product development, technical communications, QA Management and continuous improvement. As a full-time LSS Black Belt, she led and coached improvement projects in production and business processes to eliminate waste and produce more consistent outcomes. Prior to joining Six Disciplines Consulting Services, Audrey was the Global Director of Quality Assurance for Canberra, an international business unit of AREVA, a leader in the energy industry. Canberra designs and manufactures radiation detection instrumentation. In the first half of her career, she held various management and technical positions at VEGA, a manufacturer of process instrumentation equipment.
 
In addition to the strategic advisory services, Audrey has worked with Six Disciplines clients using her Lean expertise to review and improve processes, train teams of client employees in Lean and problem solving (certifying them as Yellow Belts), run turn-key improvement projects and perform data analytics.
 
Audrey resides in Columbus Ohio, having recently relocated from Connecticut. She is a graduate of Wright State University with a B.S. in Physics, and graduate work in Journalism from Ohio State University.
  
Casey is joining Six Disciplines with extensive experience in strategic planning and execution, as well as application of the Baldrige Excellence Framework, having served as Executive Director of The Partnership for Excellence - Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia's Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Additional experience includes strategic planning and quality management in K-12 education and management of large non-profit organizations including marketing, fundraising, volunteer training and public relations. Casey has 15 years of service as a National Baldrige Examiner and Technical Editor, served as Vice President of Development for the Baldrige Foundation, and is also active in the American Health Care Association (ACHA) Quality Award Program, and has been appointed as one of 11 judges in the U.S. 

Casey holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Psychology from Grove City College, Pennsylvania. She and her husband Mike reside in North Canton, Ohio and are parents of four boys ages 20 to 26.  They are avid hikers and enjoy traveling throughout the U.S. to hike and mountain climb.  In her spare time, Casey is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Cleveland and enjoys reading and spending time with her family.  
  

Casey Mackert

Client Coach

Jen Kaverman serves as the Director of Administration & Support Services of Six Disciplines Consulting Services.  She is certified on the Six Disciplines methodology and oversees training and support for the entire client base ensuring all clients are equipped for success. Jen joined Six Disciplines Consulting Services in September 2012.
 
A Columbus, Ohio native, Jen has experience in marketing, sales and account management in the digital marketing industry. Jen held a variety of positions at ClearSaleing, an eBay company and industry-leading advertising analytics company. Most recently, Jen served as an Account Manager in which she served as the principal liaison between the client and all ClearSaleing departments. As an Account Manager, she was responsible for developing strategic plans to maximize ClearSaleing’s value to her clients and providing insight from the ClearSaleing platform to ensure success of their marketing campaigns.
 
Jen holds a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree in Psychology from Ohio University, with a minor in Spanish. Over the years, Jen has passionately served as a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Athens County, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio and the Black Swamp Classic Committee. In 2014, Jen graduated from Hancock Leadership. Jen serves as an Examiner for The Partnership for Excellence, the state-level Baldrige Performance Excellence Program for Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana. In addition, she is affiliated with many organizations including Sigma Delta Pi, National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society and Alpha Gamma Delta. Jen resides in Fort Jennings, Ohio with her husband.

Anna Kurjan

Engagement Coach

Anna Kurjan is an Engagement Coach for Six Disciplines Consulting Services. Anna serves as both client and coach support to ensure that all members of the Six Disciplines team and methodology are equipped for success. Anna joined Six Disciplines Consulting Services in April 2016.

Prior to joining the Six Disciplines team, Anna worked for Kauffman Tire, an Atlanta, GA based company, in a wholesale center in Cincinnati, OH. Anna managed several aspects of customer relations including sales, financial and various account management functions. She also served as a liaison between customers and the home office in Atlanta. As part of the management development program, Anna completed DISC behavioral assessment training and VitalSmarts communications training. A Findlay, OH native, Anna currently resides in Cincinnati. Graduating from Miami University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management and Operations. Anna was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi serving as Philanthropy Chain, and a member of Campus Activities Council on the Family Weekend Board.


Kubu Patel

Engagement Coach

  
Kubu will provide both coach and client support in Baldrige Services.   Prior to joining Six Disciplines, Kubu completed an administrative fellowship at Blanchard Valley Health System in Findlay, Ohio. During her fellowship, she served on the Education Steering Committee during the Cerner implementation project, worked as the communications coordinator in Corporate PR & Marketing and co-authored the 2016-2017 BVHS Baldrige Application. Kubu also served as an examiner for The Partnership for Excellence, the state-level Baldrige program for Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana.  

A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Kubu received her bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Birmingham, AL) and her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY).

Alice Lewis

Baldrige Services Coach





Alice has been a Baldrige examiner since 2003 and has been a TPE team lead since 2012. She has master's degrees in Mathematics, Quality Management, and Computer Science. Most of her career was spent in software quality, compliance and standards but she also has experience teaching high school and college level mathematics.

Alice likes to play tennis, bike, and hike in her spare time.
  

Eric Franks

Baldrige Services Coach





Eric Franks retired from PRO-TEC Coating Company at the end of 2015 after 24 years. During that time, he acquired a “driving passion” for organizational Performance Excellence culminating in an Ohio Governor’s Award (2004) and the Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award (2007).  Since 2000, he has been continually engaged with The Partnership for Excellence and has served in a variety of roles including:  senior examiner, team leader, training facilitator, conference presenter, and judge.  Additionally, he has been engaged with the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program since 2005 as an alumni examiner, team leader, conference presenter, and Baldrige Ambassador.
